Just like any other hobby there's new words and terms you will have to understand to be able to understand what I and other people may post about growin' the green stuff...
THE LIST OF WORDS:
1. Node: A Node is where a new leaf or branch forms on the stem of your plant.
2.Topping: A technique similar to FIMMING that helps produce two bigger buds. Some people also say it makes more buds appear but I'll get more into it on another topic.

Wats up man.. Love the site its epic. Was just wondering if growing using a UV bulb as a light source wil be a winner???
Well, generally you should stay away from UV lighting, the best UV light you can get will not be beneficial or harmful to your plant though.
UVC lighting: Really bad for your plant.
UVB lighting: Also bad for your plant and will cause your plant's color to fade.
UVA lighting: Not beneficial nor harmful.
When I was younger I got CFL lights for free this way:
Materials needed:
1. Washcloth
2. Preppy looking baggy pants
3. Preppy shirt (Optional)
Procedure:
Go into a nice hotel like a Hyatt or even a Double Tree (wear the preppy clothing so you don't look suspicious). Go onto a high level floor so no one will be around, and just start taking the CFL's out of the lighting sockets with your washcloth so you don't burn your self. Easy as that. Good luck man!
